Farmers with Altitude was founded in 2013, in Leadville, Colorado. At 10,152′ feet in elevation, Leadville is a charming community surrounded by some of our highest peaks. The winters are long and usually snowy; the summers are short and beautiful.
Founder Deb Diemer started growing baby greens in the back room of her small home in 2012. “I planted a lot of little Green Lasagnas.” (Small trays of sunflowers.) “It took about 12 days for the seeds to germinate, but they were just soooo delicious! They instantly became my original happy day food!”
After some years of research and development, trying to locate a feasible production facility, and some product refinement, Farmers with Altitude is proud to announce their product line: A Simply Excellent Kitchen Garden.
At Farmers with Altitude, we believe that our small towns and under-utuilized urban areas can become thriving communities with a good quality of life. We hope you will join us for the adventure!
